My name is Briana Collins. I'm an aspiring author who writes short stories, middle grade, and YA novels.

Currently a stay-at-home mom, my "past credits" include working as a Senior Advisor at City Hall in New York City where I also wrote press releases and speeches for the Mayor and other appointed officals, serving on the board of Chicago's Neighborhood Parent Network (NPN), and writing for Scholastic, Inc.'s SuperScience Magazine as well as The Cornell Chronicle.
I am seeking representation for my middle-grade novel: The House on Old West End: A McKinley Kids Adventure as well as my current YA work-in-progress: 11 Good Eggs.

REFERENCES & FEEDBACK

Her writing was accurate - yet smartly playful - and required minimal editing....Thus, it was without reservation that I assigned her the cover story for the magazine's November/December issue.
- Patricia Janes, Senior Managing Editor "SuperScience Magazine"

- David E. Brand, former Science Editor at The Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, and The Cornell Chronicle

It's always such a pleasure to read your work, which is so crisp and lively and well done. You really have so much going for you as a writer.
This was gripping! Wow....as a crime writer and a real fan of true crime (that sounds ghoulsih, but so be it), I found the blow off really amazing.
- C.E. Lawrence, Author of the Lee Campbell "Silent" series
Her reporting has dealt with several highly complex subjects, which she has made entirely readable. And she works well with an editor.
